Fall 2011 B10CB Top Three Having a Tough Time After Promotion to the B Flight

After looking at my preview of the Blue team's B10BB Division for Spring 2012  and noticing that the two teams currently at the top of the division were both playing successfully at the B flight last season, with World Class FC finishing 2nd and Clarkstown finishing 3rd, I began to wonder how staying put, promotion and religation affected the teams from our division last season.
In the Fall of 2011 the Blue team came in 3rd place in the B10CB Division at the C flight. CougarSC-Chmiel came in first and Arsenal-Puller came in 2nd place. As you can see from their current table below, like our Blue squad both teams are having a tough time at the B flight winning 2 and 1 games respectively. I am not sure if this is indicative of the weakness of our division last Fall. With the benefit of hindsight one might think that coming in third place against that level of competition we should have stayed at the C flight, seeing how the two other promoted teams in our current division
Emerson-buschbacker and Arsenal-Ippolito are having solid

though not stand out seasons so far. Perhaps style of play,
athletism of the players or just random occurrence are better
explanations of the trouble the top teams of our last division
are having.
I can not say for sure, just thought it was interesting.
